"A cantiga é de farra, tange o pandeiro, assobia-se no refrão" é a nova
exposição de André Sousa, na Galeria Quadrado Azul, em Lisboa, a
inaugurar no próximo dia 6 de Junho, às 22 horas. Apesar do tom festivo,
a frase que nomeia a mostra (retirada da obra literária Crime e
Castigo, de Dostoyevsky) refere-se a uma cena na qual uma velha égua
cansada está prestes a ser apedrejada até à morte. Raskolnikov,
personagem principal, em breve acordará do pesadelo.
Distante no tempo e no lugar.
Paisagens, arquitectura,
objectos de museu, figuras públicas,
e um sem sentido.
Chão que tudo liga.
